Q: What got you into triathlon?
A: I attended my first triathlon club meeting freshmen year looking to meet new people. Two weeks later I was standing on the beach at Iowa's Best Dam Tri with a swim cap on sideways, and I been hooked ever since. Now I am the president of the club and loving every seccond of it.
Q: What is your favorite aspect of triathlon?
A: Coming in off a solid bike ready to rock the run. The run is always my strong part, and I take full advantage of it.
Q: Did you compete in any sports prior to triathlon?
A: I competed in motocross since I was about 5 until last year. Now my life is triathlons.
Q: What are your goals for this upcoming season?
A: I want to enjoy every mile that goes into training and bring my A game to all races.
Q: What are you long-term goals?
A: Optain elite status
